Donating to organizations that support families in time of disasters like those of Hurricane Harvey and Irma can be tricky.
To help you make sure your donations go to the programs that support your charitable interests, here are two websites that will let you know how your resources are used:
Charity Watch Dog: https://www.charitywatch.org/home
Charity Navigator: https://www.charitynavigator.org/
When thinking about your giving plans, don’t forget about the DeKalb Medical Foundation, which funds hospital improvement projects and supports staff in many ways. Visit http://www.dekalbmedical.org/foundation/ to learn more!
